I had an incredible time at this hotel! The beach location was picture-perfect, and I loved the peace and quiet throughout my stay. The rooms were stunning and provided a cozy retreat for our special occasion. On the downside, the dining selection could use some enhancement, but the service was absolutely outstanding. Overall, a fantastic getaway with a few minor hiccups.

I had an absolutely beautiful stay! The hotel is located right on the beach, offering a stunning view and a relaxing atmosphere. The rooms are modern and clean, with a spacious lagoon suite that I loved. The staff treated us like family, making our experience truly special. However, there were a couple of noisy nights due to parties and fireworks that could have been better communicated in advance.

The Thompson offers a beautiful location right on Playa de la Ropa, but I found my stay to be lacking in several areas, especially considering the price point. While the beach views were stunning and the food had some highlights, certain amenities, like the plunge pool and inconsistent shower temperatures, left much to be desired. The service in some dining areas was also not up to expectations, particularly for the price we paid.
